Location: Gudauri, Georgia

The Greater Caucasus is the great mountain wall between Europe and Asia, running from the Black Sea to the Caspian, with peaks above 5,000 metres, glaciers, medieval towers and ancient monasteries. In Georgia, the ancient Georgian Military Road climbs north from Tbilisi over the Jvari Pass towards Kazbegi and Mount Kazbek, and Gudauri, near the top of the road, is the country's biggest ski resort, famous for its wide, open slopes and freeriding.

Gudauri Lodge stands beside the slopes, about two hours by road from Tbilisi, the nearest international airport, and under an hour from Stepantsminda and Mount Kazbek.
